Our small literary team are committed to finding and developing plays of great potential by writers who have never had their work produced before, but to allow us more time to dedicate to each submission, we ask that you please familiarise yourself with our submission guidelines before sending in your script to us.
Writers who have had their work performed by an amateur group, at a scratch event, one-act festival or as a rehearsed reading are eligible for our consideration, but those who have had a full-length play produced, either in the UK or beyond, are not.
Please contact us using the email address listed below if you are not sure whether you meet our submission criteria.
What We Are Looking For
We read every play that we receive in full and search for the potential in every page, but we are particularly drawn to those pieces that feature an interesting premise, relatable characters, strong dialogue and memorable moments that will stay with an audience long after a performance has finished.
Submitting Your Play
We welcome submissions of new plays throughout the year.
Every submission must include a:
- Word or PDF version of the play
- concise synopsis
- brief character breakdown
- short covering email, which tells us a little bit about yourself, including confirmation that you have never had a full-length play produced before.
Please note that submissions which do not meet the above criteria will not be accepted.
Plays can be of any length and are welcome from writers of all ages, gender, race, location and background, but scripts must be in English, type written in a clear font, with the pages numbered.
Submissions should be sent by email to email@example.com.
What Happens Next
We will acknowledge receipt of your submission by email within three days.
We provide feedback on every submission that we receive and a decision on whether we feel that your play is suitable for our development will be given within one month.
